Cobh is located in the centre of Cork Harbour, less than 35 minutes drive from Cork Airport (29 km) and 25 minutes from the Centre of Cork City (23 km). It has all the amenities for a self catering holiday within walking distance, including a supermarket, bakery, off-license, restaurants and pubs. The accommodation is arranged over the upper 3 floors of this property. The living accommodation is on the first floor. There is a beautifully proportioned reception room and a dining room which seats 10. Both are comfortable South facing rooms with harbour views. The kitchen is a fully equipped with a range style gas cooker, american fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is also a breakfast room, a cloakroom and a laundry room with 20lb capacity washing and drying machines.
There are 5 bedrooms (one king and four twin), all en-suite, with showers (2 have bathtubs) on the second and third floors. Four of the bedrooms have harbour views.
The garden at the rear is approx 30m deep and is arranged over three terraces. It is a suntrap all day. The highest terrace is a deck, ideal for an al fresco meal, weather permitting.

Cobh is a heritage town with a rich history associated with the Irish Diaspora, from Convict Transportation to Australia to the mass emigration to the Americas after the Famine of the 1840's.
Noted as a port of call for transatlantic liners from the mid 19th century it was the final port of call for the Titanic in 1912.
